We are excited to host our 4th Annual Virtual Women in Leadership Summit from November 16th – 26th on our Digital Learning Platform.

Over 50 organizations and 500+ attendees will be engaged from the comfort of their own home in skill-building and networking workshops, keynote sessions, a live Awards Ceremony, and numerous roundtable discussions all focused on women in leadership.

This event aims to bring together business professionals from various industries to learn how we can continue to adapt and grow during and post-pandemic. As Chief Communications Officer, Sevaun leads the communications and corporate social responsibility programs across Rogers multiple platforms, including wireless, cable, business services, TV, radio and sports.

She served for six years as CEO of CivicAction — a leading Toronto-based not-for-profit that boosts civic engagement and builds better cities by unlocking the collective strength of all people and sectors in addressing the most pressing challenges facing society. Previously, Sevaun held senior executive strategy and communications roles within the Ontario Government, which included launching a strategy to attract future generations of leaders which included the award-winning Learn and Work Program for youth facing employment barriers, and leading the project team for Trillium Park — the Toronto waterfront greenspace development. She also held positions at the University of Toronto, the World Bank Group, and Presidential Classroom, a Washington D.C.-based civic education organization.

A voice of influence and advocacy on many urban issues, Sevaun was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2018. She holds an M.A. History, and B.A. (hons) degrees from Western University, and has completed executive programs at the Harvard Business School and Ivey Business School at Western University.

She sits on the boards of NEXT Canada, and the Ivey Business School Leadership Advisory Council.

Dr. Mandich has a PhD from Western University in Health Science, specializing in Health Promotion and her primary areas of research are happiness and health. Her work combines the latest research and practical wisdom with an engaging style to help people live happier, healthier lives.

Dr. Mandich is passionate about research. She is the founder of The International Happiness Institute of Health Science Research and is a part of the Meant2Prevent research team at SickKids. She appears regularly in the media on shows such as The Social, Marilyn Denis, Breakfast Television, The Morning Show, and CBC; is a graduate Student Innovation Scholar Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business Pierre L. Speaker: Jenny Krughkov

Wellness Coach & Public Health Nurse & Speaker

Jenny Krughkov is a passionate wellness coach and speaker who inspires women to create more calm and balance in their daily lives. After graduating from McMaster University’s BSc of Nursing program, she pursued her passion for health and education at the Hospital for Sick Kids in transplant and pediatric acute care. Her passion for health promotion, community health and leadership led her to 17 years of Public Health Nursing with York Region where she taught students how to reduce stress and create positive mental health through mindful health practices. Her time promoting maternal and child health led her to recognize the benefit for us as busy women to create simple and effective daily habits for abundant wellness and so she passionately dove into helping women through lifestyle coaching, speaking, and holistic wellness education.

When she’s not actively helping women design their own wellness blueprints, she can be found hiking the Niagara escarpment, traveling the globe and connecting with friends around the campfire. Her areas of focus and education include gut-brain health and the microbiome, living authentically, and creating health and happiness through balancing the autonomic nervous system.

Lilliette

Speaker: Lilliette Davidson

Vice President, Business Management & Development, Ontario Pharmacists Association

As a multi-faceted high-performance business leader, Lilliette Davidson has spent 15 years working in wide variety of industries from pharmaceutical, wellness, fitness, retail and manufacturing to medical diagnostics, laboratory sciences and consumer packaged goods. Currently, she is the Vice President, Business Management & Development, at Ontario Pharmacists Association. Before joining OPA, Lilliette was Senior Director of Customer Experience & Inside Sales, at McKesson a $200Bn/78,000 employee company ranked #6 on the Fortune 500.

In addition to her busy corporate life, she is a fly-by-the-sit-of-the-pants mother of 3 amazing kids and a wife to an awesome husband. As a busy woman in leadership, knows there is a need for a great sweaty workout, a great escape to the yoga mat to decompress or just some peace and quiet time to breath, stretch and meditate. Life is hectic! She gets it. This is what led Lilliette to find simple solutions to balance and improve her life through fitness and wellness. This journey started as a young girl where her love of all things sports and athletics, has given her decades of experience in fitness from Olympic-level training in track ‘n’ field (at the University of Toronto) to competitive level participation in team sports like softball and volleyball. She formalized her training knowledge through the YMCA Simcoe Muskoka where she continued her education to become a Certified Group Fitness Instructor in 2010. More recently, Lilliette completed an intensive Christian yoga training program in Tempe, Arizona (YTT-200) and studied Vinyasa yoga with a school in Austin, Texas (YTT-300); She is a registered Yoga Alliance® RYT-500. She’s passionate about inspiring wellness at work through simple strategies that keep us breathing and moving all day. Lilliette earned her MBA at Lansbridge University, and her BA at the University of Toronto.

Sabrina Sdao is a leader in Deloitte Canada’s Human Capital practice and a strategist with a focus on well-being and human performance. She has advised some of Canada’s largest organizations on strategy, operations transformation, workplace transformation, organization design, and change management. Sabrina has also advised the not-for-profit sector and worked in the health sector, designing and implementing wellbeing solutions including digital health applications and health coaching.

Who They Are:

Up With Women is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to helping recently homeless and at-risk women to build sustainable, prosperous careers and businesses with the aim of permanently exiting poverty. Our program operates across Canada from Vancouver to Montreal. We offer a year long program of twice monthly, one-on-one, customized coaching with an International Coach Federation certified professional coach. Our coaches provide career and entrepreneurship-based guidance pro-bono, allowing Up With Women to deliver high quality services at a very low cost. We also offer personality and assessment tools, group support sessions, and skills development to our clients.

Through our program, our clients are equipped with skills to not only find secure employment at a livable wage, but also increased resiliency, self-understanding, and a strong group support network.

What is the nomination deadline?

All completed nomination packages must be sent to info@mycspn.com no later than October 31, 2020.

Who can be nominated?

How many award categories may I select?

You may nominate as many award categories as you see best represents the nominee. The judges will make the final selection based on the criterias of all the nominees.

Who selects the award winners?

Submissions are reviewed by a panel of judges comprising of leading industry experts in customer service and women in leadership.

When will the winners be announced?

Winners are announced on November 26, 2020.

What is the dress code for the virtual event?

Feel free to dress up for this live virtual summit in your best business dress or cocktail attire.

Can I purchase a table of 10 or 20?

Yes!  If you are bringing a team, please refer to the rates in the section above for team rates.

Do award winners receive a certificate?

Winners will receive a digital certificate and mentions on our website.

Will nominees be contacted?

Nominees will be notified by CSPN of their nominations.  All nominees are encouraged to attend the event.

Do nominees need to register?

Yes, nominees can register along with their colleagues and team.  Make this event a memorable team event!

Do I have to be a member to participate in events?

You don’t have to be a member to participate; however, you will not receive member discounts and other member benefits.

Cancellation Policy

CSPN understands that schedules can change and despite a registrant’s best intentions they may not be able to attend an event. If a registrant is unable to attend the event an alternate delegate from the registrant’s company is welcome to attend in their place. If a substitute cannot be found, CSPN will accept cancellations and issue refunds under the following conditions:

Cancellation Deadlines

No later than 10 business days prior to the date of the event.

Policies

If CSPN cancels an event for any reason, all registration fees will be fully refunded. Registration fees will be fully refunded minus administrative fees ($100) if the registrant cancels more than 10 business days prior to the date of the event. No refunds will be provided if the registrant cancels after the cancellation deadline or is a “no-show” at the event. Refunds will not be issued to registration cancellations made after the cancellation deadline (less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event) or if a registrant is a ‘no-show’ at the event. If the registrant cancels within 10 business days of event, the registrant may choose to either:

  • Have a substitute registrant attend
  • Apply the full registration amount as a credit towards the registration for a different event offered by CSPN within 12 months from the date of the original event.?

Note: CSPN has the right to cancel, change or reschedule its event and/or venues due to unforeseen circumstances. If a cancellation occurs, CSPN will refund all payments that have been made for that event.

Can we nominate ourselves or individuals again?

You certainly can! There are no restrictions on the number of times you nominate an individual, even if they won previously.
