The warm and smiling face of Breakfast Television Toronto’s “Live Eye” segment for 23 years, Jennifer Valentyne is now the host of “The Bachelor and The Bachelorette Canada’s” first live After Show on the W Network, and a co-host on Q107 with John Derringer. With her infectious enthusiasm lighting up everything she does, Jennifer is the perfect choice for our Keynote. Jennifer will inspire you!
Jennifer’s journey to being one of the most recognizable faces on television started while she was attending Centennial College for Radio and Television Broadcasting, working as the Key590 radio station Cash Car Girl while studying. She then took an internship at MuchMusic, and after graduation, obtained a full time position as a graphics operator in hopes of becoming a VJ. Moses Znaimer, founder of Citytv, had other plans, and brought her to morning television in the memorable role of the singing weather girl, and the rest is history.
Over the course of her career, Jennifer has interviewed celebrities such as Sir Richard Branson, Billy Crystal, Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, and Harrison Ford, but her passion has always been people in the community–she has the exceptional gift of unearthing their fascinating stories and sharing them in a meaningful way.
An actor, Jennifer was a founding member of the comedy troupe “On the Off Ramp” and studied improv at The Second City, as well as working with one of the originals, Joe Flaherty, on character building. She has been writing songs and singing jazz since she was a teenager and went on tour after releasing two CDs.
Jennifer is deeply fulfilled by giving back to the community with volunteer initiatives and is actively involved with Camp Oochigeas, The Children’s Breakfast Club, Dreams Take Flight, Habitat for Humanity, Women Build, Pride Build and World Vision.

Juanita’s passion for brand loyalty and an exceptional customer experience is what guides her direction. She has a contagious entrepreneurial spirit that turns a strong vision into reality in a journey that is fun, collaborative and as quick as they come! She is responsible for establishing the Gusto 54 brand and expanding it beyond our existing restaurant experiences. Since joining as President in 2014 the company has transitioned from 3 to 10 concepts and has received international acclaim. She oversees the development and launch of new business opportunities, like the Gusto 54 product line, catering division, partnership agreements and restaurant expansion. Juanita has almost two decades of brand and marketing experience. Over the last 15 years, she has worked with some of the top fortune 500 brands providing strategic counsel and execution on product launches, customer experience design, employee engagement and brand loyalty solutions. She holds her Masters in Marketing and Communication from Schulich School of Business and an undergrad in Hospitality & Business Administration from Ryerson University.

We were excited to host our 2nd Women in Leadership networking and awards evening in Toronto on October 17. This remarkable event included a luxurious evening full of engaging panelists and a motivational keynote speaker, JENNIFER VALENTYNE who inspired us to new heights. We had over 250 women and men in attendance and celebrated the evening away recognizing women leaders and listening to their stories.
We had an elegant cocktail reception, a four-course dinner, entertainment, and not to mention that photobooth!
