Welcome to CSPN's 5th Annual Women In Leadership Summit

Thank you so much for this honour. What I wouldn’t give to sit down with each and every one of these talented women who’ve been nominated to LEARN from you. I haven’t been in this customer experience world for long but one quote that always rings in my ears is from Bill Gates: “Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.” Thank you to CSPN and to all those celebrated today.

I am so honored and grateful to be the recipient of the Emerging leader award today. 1st off I want to thank my team for taking the time to nominate me, and to everyone who voted, this means so much to me. Thank you to CSPN for this event and always providing us an opportunity to learn as leaders. I have attended many CSPN events, and I would watch people win awards. I had hoped one day I would be a recipient of an award at one of these events. Today is my day and I am so happy thank you and congratulations to all the Boss Ladies who were nominated and/or won!!! I am honored to be in such good company.

I would like to thank my team at HIROC, along with the judging panel and community as I am humbled by the opportunity to receive this award. This acknowledgement was only made possible because of my dedicated, passionate, high performing and innovative team that I am honored to work with. My team inspires me, along with the organization, to continuously strive for excellence and achieve a higher standard.

It is with both gratitude and humility that I accept this award. I am particularly touched and overwhelmed that I was nominated by an employee. I have been fortunate in my career to have had great mentors who have taught me to lead with compassion and understanding and most importantly never being too busy to make someone feel heard. I believe that it is important to approach all situations with curiosity and questioning and never from a place of assumption or firm belief. Thank you CSPN for selecting me as the winner of 2021 Leader in People & Culture Award.
