About the Speaker

Allison Patterson, VP, Member & Student Experience, CPA Ontario

With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Allison has led multi-functional teams through complex projects and deliverables in different sectors including accounting and pharmaceuticals. Allison is currently the Director of Member Experience at CPA Ontario. In this role, she is responsible for strategic initiatives such as the NPS/engagement surveys, market research insights as well as overseeing many operational programs such as communities of interest, affinity/benefits, local associations and awards and recognition. Most recently, Allison harmonized the tax preparation program and expanded the reach to Indigenous communities.
Allison also holds an M.Ed and the CMC, 6 Sigma, CTDP certifications. She has served as a board director on several different boards, most recently as the national chair for the Institute for Performance and Learning. She lives in Toronto with her husband and three children.

David has served as a corporate and organizational strategy consultant with Deloitte Inc where he helped clients navigate the financial and human capital impacts of mergers and acquisitions. David has held progressively senior roles within high-growth technology, energy, and consumer finance companies where he has built and led sales, marketing, operations, finance, and customer care teams. David is passionate about helping leaders and organizations simplify their strategy to ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders and ultimately drive traction towards happy clients and team-members.

David holds degrees from Huron University College at Western University and the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is co-author of Hitting Stryde: An Early Career Gen-Y Career Survival Guide.
