E-Learning – AODA Accessible Customer Service Regulation E-Training​

This E-Learning course on accessible customer service was designed to help you learn about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Accessible Customer Service Regulation. The course includes interactive learning activities, self-testing and video clips to help you apply the requirements of the AODA Customer Service Regulation to your work environment so that you can provide accessible service to your customers. When you complete the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

On completion of this 0.75 hour module you should be able to:

  • Define the purpose of the AODA and the requirements of the Accessible Customer Service Regulation
  • Describe how the AODA Customer Service Regulation relates to you in your work
  • Display how to interact and communicate with people with disabilities
  • Identify equipment and devices available at your facility to help with the provision of goods or services to a person with a disability
  • Demonstrate how to interact with persons who use an assistive device or require the assistance of a service animal or support person
  • Explain what to do if a customer with a disability is having difficulty accessing services or goods where you work
